Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna explained how the players will give everything to rectify the Club’s start to the Sky Bet Championship campaign.
The Terriers face Fulham at the John Smith’s Stadium tomorrow night (Friday 16 August 2019) searching for their first win of the 2019/20 campaign.
When speaking ahead of the upcoming game, Bacca explained how everyone will continue to battle together to try and get a positive result.
“We didn’t have the start that we wanted.
“We want to play our own game, to fight, to work hard, to give everything for the Club and for the fans.
“It didn’t work the first few games, but hopefully Friday if we can work hard, stick together, show what we can do, then hopefully we can get the three points.”
The midfielder has played in all three of the club’s games this season and was started in the defeat to Lincoln City.
He admitted that he saw a reaction from his teammates in training after they were knocked out the Carabao Cup and expects that to continue.
“You can see that the guys talked about it and you can see it in training a little bit, some different stuff from different players.
“You will see (a reaction) tomorrow at the game. Hopefully we will be better and show the fans that we are fighting for this club, hopefully we can get the three points.”
Town’s first win of the season last year came against Fulham. The Cottagers were also relegated from the Premier League last season and Bacuna explained what he expects from them.
“They will again display nice football and try to get forward, they have some good players and a good feeling.
“But, for us, we have to focus on our game, our game plan. Hopefully with that we can win the game.”
