Jan Siewert’s squad will prepare for the new season in Kirchberg

- Huddersfield Town to travel to Austria during pre-season
- Terriers will stay in Kirchberg in early July
- Details of pre-season fixtures in the area to be confirmed

Huddersfield Town will return to Austria for a fourth successive pre-season as part of the preparations for the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

As has been the case for the past two years, the Terriers’ First Team squad will stay in Kirchberg in Tirol, Austria, with this year’s stay taking place between Sunday 7 July and Sunday 14 July 2019.

Jan Siewert’s squad is expected to play several fixtures in the area during the week, details of which will be announced on when confirmed.

This will be the third successive year that Town’s First Team squad has spent a period of pre-season in Kirchberg, following on from time in Fügen back in 2016.

In the most recent spell in Austria, the Terriers defeated FC Bologna of Italy’s Serie A thanks to a last-minute Steve Mounié header before a comprehensive victory over a young team from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
