Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo reviewed the Club’s “tough defeat” to Leicester City at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The Terriers were beaten 4-1 by the Foxes and when speaking to #HTTV after the game, Terence gave his thoughts on the game.

“I think the first half they scored the first goal and then a second, but we came back with our goal, so it was 2-1.

“The three one was hard, but we tried to score until the end. It’s a tough defeat, but what can we do. Next game we have to stand again.”

Town was relegated from the Premier League last weekend, but Terence explained that wasn’t on his mind or the mind of his teammates.

“It was hard to take last week but everyone was ok in the head and ready for the game.

“We came back with our goal, but the third goal was hard mentally. We lost, and we have to go to the next game and forget this quick.

“We always believed we could come back but we have to accept we lost.”

The defender was keen to focus on the positives from the game, explaining how they can spur on the Terriers into the final games.

“We created chances with Steve Mounié and Karlan Grant, but for me, as a defender, it’s hard to concede goals like this.

“Every week I want to keep a clean sheet, so for me, it’s really hard.

“We have to keep the positivity, Mooy scored and we created chances. We have to take that into the next games.”
