Huddersfield Town First Team Coach Mark Hudson took part in the latest Kia Challenge and went into detail about the promising youngsters at the Club and the similarities that he shares with Head Coach Jan Siewert.
Town’s former captain drove the brand-new Kia Sportage, whilst Town’s Commercial Manager for Partnerships John Williams put his own twist on carpool karaoke and chatted to him about everything Huddersfield Town.
The pair discussed numerous topics ranging from the progress of Juninho Bacuna and Karlan Grant to preparing the Academy players so that they are ready to make the step-up to the First Team.
Town’s First Team Coach also discussed how phenomenal the fans have been throughout a tough season for the Club and that the demand for next season’s Season Cards has been unbelievable.
Hudson was promoted to the Club’s First Team Coach shortly after Jan Siewert was appointed as Head Coach, and the former Town defender admitted that the two of them have a lot in common with each other.
“We spoke straightaway, obviously he respects me, and the fact that he’s given me that role as well at the Club,” said Hudson.
“We get on well and he’s very similar to me, we’re ambitious and we want to do well.
“We’ve got the idea of the game and how it should be played and how we want to play it.
“We’re winners and it’s built into us, we want to win, and it hurts us when we don’t.
“We know we’ve got a lot of work to do, but we’ll continue to work hard and fight hard and we’ll start turning the games around.”
The KIA Challenges will continue to run during the 2019/20 season as the Club’s Partnership with Kia Longley Park blossoms.
