Huddersfield Town’s Under-19 side managed a 1-1 draw with Polish top-flight Under-23 side Miedź Legnica as the youngsters finished their brief tour of Poland on Wednesday.
After having the original fixture with Śląsk Wrocław cancelled, Miedź Legnica stepped in to take on Dean Whitehead’s side at the Opalenica training base.
Town fell behind after 16 minutes when the Polish side’s left winger curled his effort into the top corner.
The Young Terriers, however, responded well and grabbed an equaliser after a great solo goal from left-back Jaden Brown after 32 minutes.
The left-back picked up the ball just infield from the left side, drove past two players and slotted the ball into the bottom left corner with his right foot in classy style.
Town pushed for a winner, but the youngsters were unable to break the Miedź Legnica back line as the game ended 1-1.
