- Huddersfield Town striker Karlan Grant sets goalscoring record
- Forward is youngest to score in all seven domestic competitions
- Karlan also sixth youngest scorer in all four English divisions

With his first goal in Town colours back in February 2019, Karlan Grant set a record in English football as the youngest player to score in all seven domestic competitions!

The 21-year-old, who joined the Terriers from Sky Bet League 1 side Charlton Athletic in the January transfer window, was awarded the goal against the Gunners at the John Smith’s Stadium by the Premier League after it was originally given as an own goal.

In netting that goal, Karlan cemented his place in the history books as the youngest player to score in all four English divisions and the three domestic cup competitions at 7,722 days old.

Grant scored in the Sky Bet Championship, Sky Bet League 1, the Emirates FA Cup, the Carabao Cup and the Checkatrade Trophy for Charlton.

His Sky Bet League 2 goal followed during a loan spell at Crawley Town in the second-half of the 2017/18 season, when he netted nine goals in 15 league starts.

Karlan’s debut Town goal against Arsenal completed the magnificent seven!

There are only five players who have scored goals in all four English divisions at a younger age than Karlan.

- Ian ‘Chico’ Hamilton is the youngest, scoring in all four divisions at just 7,242 days old
- Saido Berahino
- Matt Phillips
- Matt Jansen
- Robbie Wakenshaw
