“We will try everything, and we will for sure invest everything we have, to get this first win” said Head Coach David Wagner ahead of Huddersfield Town’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace.

The Terriers enter the fifth Premier League game week of the season still looking for a first win and when speaking to the press, David Wagner explained that his side would do everything to try and make it happen.

“It’s important for every team to get a first win as soon as possible.

“We’ve tried it four times so far and we haven’t got it and now we have another opportunity at home, in front of our supporters, to make it happen; this is our aim.

“Even if we know it’s a difficult task again in front of us, we are all aware of the quality Palace has and we know we have to be on our best.”

This is the first game back following the September international break, which saw eight First Team players travel to play for their respective nations.

Town’s Head Coach went into detail about their health and the latest team news ahead of the game against the Eagles.

“We are well prepared, we had two good weeks. All the internationals came back healthy from their duties.

“We have two small injury concerns with Collin Quaner and Bacuna who both got a knock-on Wednesday’s game when they played with the EDT.

“There’s a small question mark behind Diakhaby who wasn’t in training yesterday, but it looks like he will train today.

“Everyone else is fit and healthy and ready to try everything to get this over the line.”

The Huddersfield Town supporters have been praised on numerous occasions over the past two seasons and David Wagner explained how he needs them to help his side.

“With the supporters on our back, which we need, for sure, I hope we can make sure that the gap between Palace and Huddersfield Town that is obvious, will not be obvious tomorrow. For this we need our supporters to close this gap, in one game, everything is possible.

“We will try everything to make it as uncomfortable as possible for Palace, even if we know and respect their quality.

“It’s our aim to be, performance wise, on a top level and hopefully get a very good result as well.”
