Huddersfield Town’s Rajiv van La Parra explained how the players have a good feeling going into this weekend’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace.
When speaking to #HTTV, the winger went into detail about how he, and his teammates, can take the positives from the game at Goodison Park into the match against Palace, whilst also reflecting on his ‘best away performance in the top-flight’.
“I think, of course, it was one of my best away performances (at Everton), it’s different went you play at home and away.
“It’s nice to perform well and to get a point as well. We got a point at a tough place.
“I was happy with my performance and happy with the whole team performance because we fought to the end. I have a good feeling when I look back at this game.
“Now it’s Crystal Palace and we have to take all the positives from Everton and a good fight and good feeling from this point into the Crystal Palace game.”
Town started the 2017/18 Premier League season excellently with a 3-0 win over the Eagles before being beaten by them in the second half of the season.
The 27-year-old looked back at that game, whilst discussing how Town has prepared for this Saturday.
“I think we were unlucky that they scored the first goal (at the John Smith’s Stadium last season) because it made it easier for them because we had to attack.
“They have a lot of individual quality, so that made it easier for them, then they scored a second goal and the game was finished.
“For us, we are in a good condition now and we are able to compete with them.
“We know their strengths and make sure a lot of their individual players get stopped. We know their quality, but I think we are well prepared.”
