“We showed big character and great spirit” said Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Jonas Lössl after the Club’s 1-1 draw against Everton.

Town performed admirably at Goodison Park and showed the true Terrier Spirit to earn the Club’s first away point of the season.

The Terriers took the lead through Philip Billing before Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised just 90 seconds later.

Jonas, who started his first Premier League game of the season explained how happy the team was with the result.

“I think there’s a feeling that after we went in front there was more to get but in the end, we showed big character and great spirit to get the point; it was a good point definitely.

“It’s nice to see that we could find some of the characteristics from last season. We stood by each other’s shoulders, fought for the point and defended well.”

Over 2,000 supporters travelled to Goodison Park to back David Wagner’s side and Jonas, was once again, overwhelmed the noise they made.

“Especially in the second half, when I was standing in the other end of the ground, I could still hear them.

“They were fantastic, also given that we maybe didn’t get all the points we needed, with an unlucky draw last time.

“It’s fantastic to hear their support every time; we need it and it’s great to see them.”

Jonas went on to discuss what David Wagner said to the players after the game, how hard he worked to get back in the starting line-up and talked supporters through how the game plan worked today against Everton.
