Find out how Huddersfield Town’s loan players are performing at their clubs

During the 2018/19 season, Huddersfield Town has five players on loan at other club and five on work experience, all gaining experiences of First Team football.

A number of youngsters have been showing off their talents and starring on loan. Htafc.com takes look at their seasons so far.

Jack Payne at Bradford City

Jack (shown above) has started the campaign off strongly for Bradford City, who currently sits 17th position in League 1.

Playing six matches (490 minutes) and scoring two goals, Jack is currently top goal scorer for Bradford City.

One of those goals came against fellow Town loanee Joel Coleman in a win over Shrewsbury Town on the opening day of the season.

Lewis O’Brien at Bradford City

19-year-old Lewis O’Brien joined Jack at Bradford City just last week on loan.

Since recently joining, Lewis has already been named on the bench against Fleetwood Town (01/09/2018).

When signing for the Club, a statement on the Club’s website said: “We have been monitoring Lewis for some time and have liked what we have seen… he is young and very hungry to succeed. He will bring a great deal of energy and has a desire to achieve at First Team level.”

Joel Coleman at Shrewsbury Town

Goalkeeper Joel Coleman has been a key player for Shrewsbury Town who currently sit 23rd in Sky Bet League 1.

Playing six matches (540 minutes), Joel has a 70% save success rate so far this season and has had two clean sheets.

Alongside this, the 22-year-old ‘keeper saved a penalty against Luton Town in a 3-2 defeat on 25 August 2018.

Rekeil Pyke at AFC Wrexham

AFC Wrexham currently sits top of the Vanarama National League, and Manager Sam Ricketts has praised Rekeil Pyke’s work and his importance to the team in a number of interviews.

Rekeil has made eight appearances so far and has scored two impressive and stylish goals. He also played against fellow Town loanee Regan Booty, as AFC Wrexham claimed a 2-0 victory.

Regan Booty at Aldershot

Regan Booty (shown below - picture taken by Ian Morsman) has played seven matches for Aldershot this season, who currently sits 10th position in the Vanarama National League.

The midfielder was named Man of the Match in Aldershot’s 2-1 win over Sutton United on 27 August 2018.

Players on Work Experience:

Liversedge FC

Town currently has four work experience players at Liversedge FC, who sit in fifth position in the Northern Countries East Football League Premier Division.

Harrison Davison-Hale was the first of the Young Terriers to join Liversedge and he has since made four appearances for the Club.

Sam Gibson has started to make an impact for Liversedge as well, starting in the Club’s past two games playing the full 90 minutes in both. However, Liversedge lost to Frickley Athletic and Winsford United.

George Danaher, who recently joined Abbey Hey and ended his loan spell with Liversedge, made one appearance for the Club. After returning from injury, the young striker came on in the 55th minute in the defeat to Frickley Athletic.

Dahomey Raymond also joined the Club, however he is yet to get onto the pitch for Liversedge The midfielder was named on the bench for an FA Cup preliminary round clash on 25 August 2018.

Brighouse Town

Jordan Eli is the only Town player at Brighouse Town, who sit in seventh position in the Northern Premier League Division One East.

Jordan has started on one occasion and has had one sub appearance. In the game he started, he helped his side to a 2-0 win against Gresley FC on 18 August 2018.
