"I am very pleased with the attitude and that performance” explained David Wagner when reviewing the Club’s draw at Goodison Park.

Following the draw with the Toffees, Town’s Head Coach went into detail about the game plan used by his side to nullify the threats possessed by Marco Silva’s men.

"We decided to play in a shape where we overloaded the wings and stopped the inside past. We've done that well.

“We knew they weren't the strongest at defending set-plays, so credit to the coaching staff for working on that.

"I am very pleased with the attitude and that performance. The biggest trait is the togetherness and desire to work for each other.”

As mentioned above, Town’s Head Coach highlighted Everton’s weakness from set pieces ahead of the game, which was worked on by First Team Coach Andrew Hughes and the players leading up to the match.

David Wagner explained how happy he was with them, reserved praise for Philip Billing and praised his players’ work ethic.

"We had good deliveries from set-plays; I am pleased for Phil (Billing). He has performed, like the whole team, on a very high level in terms of organisation and communication.

"It would have been good to have defended the cross for their goal better and better marking of Calvert-Lewin. We shouldn't forget it was Everton away though, and we limited them to only a few chances.

"I've seen this work ethic before. These players will always give absolutely everything. We still need to improve and grow, especially in the final third. The Terrier spirit is something that every supporter can be proud of."
