Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner spoke highly of his players in light of a narrow single-goal defeat against Liverpool FC - a performance full of character and spirit.
David Wagner expressed his delight at the way his men went about executing a pressing game-plan - similar to the plan that reaped the better of the play against Spurs - as well as further impressive application which lacked only the key ingredient of finding the net.
Another battling performance came and went without reward, leading to the Head Coach reiterating the need to turn the desire and passion into valuable points.
Following the game, David Wagner commented:
"We don't have luck. The most important thing is that the group is mentally strong, they have shown today they are tight and that they have the willingness and desire to perform in a Huddersfield Town kit. The results will come.
"The players have shown great bravery. They created opportunities, and they were brave to go Man v Man and press Liverpool high.
"This atmosphere is incredible, it is one of the best in the Premier League. It must be hard with no win again, but they see and show the respect for what the players do on the pitch and I'm so proud to be Manager of this Football Club."
