Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner revealed the latest team news ahead of the Club’s Premier League match away at Turf Moor.

There were a number of injury concerns following Town’s defeat against Tottenham Hotspurs last week, including question marks over defenders Terence Kongolo and Christopher Schindler.

David Wagner went into detail with the press about who will be available for this weekend’s match at Turf Moor.

“Unfortunately, we have some injury problems; Terence Kongolo will miss the game tomorrow with a hamstring injury. He will be out for four to five weeks, I think.

“Danny Williams and Ramadan Sobhi are still making their recovery training, whilst Hamid Sabiri got a knock on his ankle, so he will miss tomorrow’s game; nothing serious but he won’t to be ready.

“Tommy Smith has had some groin problems; we think they will be back for the game after the international break.

“So, we have some problems with injuries but everyone else is available and I’m confident we will bring a strong squad and strong starting XI onto the grass.”

Christopher Schindler came off against Spurs at the John Smith’s Stadium and Town’s Head Coach admitted he will go through a final test today to see whether he’s ready for the weekend.

“Christopher Schindler was on the grass yesterday and will be with the team today.

“He will make a final test today and then we will decide if he’s available. If he is ready, then he will start.”

When previewing the match against Burnley this weekend, David Wagner explained how his players can take confidence out of their last few performances.

“Everyone has seen that performance-wise, how the guys played, worked, with the unity, desire and attitude you have to show to get something out of Premier League matches, that everything was there apart from the goals.

“We don’t have to change something in our philosophy or mindset.

“Now we really have to change these performances into points; this is what we will try to do even if we know it’s a difficult task.

“Burnley got back-to-back wins after a difficult start and they’ve shown how you can turn things around.”
