Huddersfield Town defender Christopher Schindler spoke of his and the team’s excitement to get back to Premier League action on Sunday.
This will be the Terriers’ first competitive game since Saturday 10 November 2018 due to the international break as David Wagner’s side faces Wolves at the Molineux.
When speaking ahead of this game, Christopher Schindler described what the mood is like in the dressing room.
“We are excited because it’s been two weeks without a competitive game. You can feel in training its intense, aggressive and focused; that’s the way it has to be.”
“The last few results gave us a boost, but we have to keep this ongoing. We have to give everything we can to go on a streak where we get points on the board. This is an important game.
“We have to be confident and brave on the ball to create opportunities and score goals against them.
“It’s not easy because they are really good upfront, so we have to be careful as well. We can do something, but we have to be on our best, confident and brave.”
Christopher Schindler was part of the Huddersfield Town side that beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 at the Molineux two seasons ago and explained what his memories were from that incredible evening.
“It was a crucial game for us. I think we were struggling a little bit to secure the Play-Off spot and then with that win away from home we could secure it.
“It was massive step for us in the Championship season and after that game we could focus on the Play-Offs earlier, which maybe was an advantage at that time.
“It was a good day and the Manager told us it was a massive day for the Club And that we had an unbelievable opportunity to write our names in history.”
