- Town lost to Herbert Chapman’s Arsenal at Wembley
- Graf Zeppelin passed over the Stadium during the match

Huddersfield Town supporters can now watch exclusive footage from the Club’s FA Cup Final in 1930!

The footage, which was recovered and archived by Club Partner Microform, allows supporters to see action leading up to and during Town’s fourth appearance in an FA Cup Final.

Captain Tom Wilson talks supporters through the team, before the video shows exclusive footage from training ahead of the Final.

Before seeing action from the game, Town fans will also see the pre-match atmosphere, and sing-a-long, inside Wembley Stadium.

All the action, including both goals, is available alongside footage of the Arsenal players collecting the FA Cup.

Away from normal football content, the video also shows a Graf Zeppelin – a German aircraft carrier – flying over the Stadium.

All this footage was recovered and archived by Town’s Club Partners Microform, who have been working with the Club for a number of years.

Huddersfield Town’s Head of Marketing and Communications, David Threlfall-Sykes commented:

“First of all, I would like to thank Microform for helping us recover this incredible footage.

“I know how much work went into digitising the footage we had of the 1930 FA Cup Final and we really appreciate the work they’ve done on it.

“I am also delighted we’ve been able to show supporters this remarkable footage; it gives us all a taste of life and football from the 1930s, something I’m sure everyone will enjoy!”
