David Wagner’s squad will prepare for the Premier League in Kirchberg

- Huddersfield Town to travel to Austria during pre-season
- Terriers will stay in Kirchberg in late July
- Details of two friendlies still to be confirmed

Huddersfield Town will return to Austria during the final stages of preparation for the 2018/19 Premier League campaign in late July 2018.

As per a year ago, the Terriers’ First Team squad will stay in Kirchberg in Tirol, Austria, flying out from Leeds Bradford Airport on Saturday 28 July and returning to England a week later (4 August); seven days before the start of the Club’s second Premier League campaign.

During the stay, David Wagner’s side will play two friendly fixtures, details of which will be announced on in due course.

This will be the third successive season that Town has spent a period of pre-season in Austria following on from the 2016 spell in Fügen and last season’s stay in Kirchberg.

Last season the Terriers drew 3-3 with Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart before another stalemate with Italian Serie A side Torino, with the game finishing 2-2.
