Three changes made to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made three changes to the starting XI for tonight’s Premier League game at Chelsea; 7.45pm kick-off at Stamford Bridge.

The first change comes in central midfield, where Philip Billing comes in to replace Florent Hadergjonaj for his first start in 11 top-flight games. The 21 year-old Dane’s last start came at Old Trafford on 3 February in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United.

Town’s other two changes come in attack, where Rajiv van La Parra returns to the side in place of Alex Pritchard and Laurent Depoitre replaces Steve Mounié.

Terence Kongolo and Chris Löwe have recovered from the knocks they sustained at Manchester City at the weekend to start; it’s the German’s first back-to-back starts since mid-December. Likewise, captain Tommy Smith makes his first successive starts since January tonight.

Jonathan Hogg is making his 150th start for the Club in all competitions.

After two games out with a hamstring injury, Tom Ince returns to the bench tonight.

Wagner is without Ryan Schofield (elbow), Elias Kachunga (ankle), Danny Williams (ankle) and Michael Hefele (knee) tonight.
