Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner explained to the press that his side will travel to Wembley Stadium with only positive memories ahead of this weekend’s match against Tottenham Hotspur.

David Wagner recalled his side’s promotion-winning match against Reading at Wembley Stadium explaining that his squad will have that positive feeling when they return to the national stadium.

The Head Coach reserved special praise for all departments at Huddersfield Town for helping his coaching staff clear the training pitch from snow for training, whilst also admitting the schedules have changed because of the adverse weather conditions.

Wagner continued to discuss the latest team news, whilst discussing that the challenge is to always take points off the top six teams detailing that it’s even more important when you’re in a relegation battle.

On this weekend’s game against Tottenham Hotspur David Wagner commented:

“It’s a great occasion this weekend, of course it is, and we only have unbelievably positive memories when we think about Wembley.

“It’s less than a year ago when we had one of the most successful days in the Club’s history.

“Now we are back, and the positive memories are something which can help you, if you prepare yourself for this game. We will take it and I think it’s great to be back there in a competitive game.

“The problem is, it’s against Tottenham, one of the best teams in the Premier League or maybe in the world at the minute.

“We will like always try our best, fight for every single yard and sometimes surprises happen in football.”
