Head Coach David Wagner admitted his Huddersfield Town players are in a positive mood ahead of this weekend’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace.

The Terriers go into the match at the John Smith’s Stadium off the back of a number of positive performances, something that David Wagner believes they can take a lot of confidence from.

However, Town’s Head Coach was quick to state that the players know they need to perform again and that those performances count for nothing when they enter the pitch on Saturday.

David Wagner went on to mention that playing against Crystal Palace at the John Smith’s Stadium will also provide his players with extra confidence.

Wagner explained that his players are focused on the big chance ahead and praised them for performing on important occasions in the past.

Ahead of the Crystal Palace match, David Wagner commented:

“I think we should leave last week behind us and take the positives out of the momentum we have.

“We have the momentum we always wanted to have at this stage of the season, seven points out of the last four and one was Tottenham away. All the other teams were around us and we’ve collected points and beaten them. We played a good game against Birmingham in the Emirates FA Cup as well.

“The players are in a positive mood. They have shown performances which can give them all the confidence they need, but they know tomorrow is a new game and we have to be on it again.

“It’s great that we play this game home again; this gives us another step of confidence that we are able to play this game at home with our supporters on our back, who are able to create this atmosphere we need for sure.

“Then it’s like always, we will see what we get out of it. Yes, it’s a big game but we are more focused on the chance this game delivers us rather than the circumstances which we play this game under.”
