One change to starting XI

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner has made one change to the starting XI for today’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Collin Quaner – who leads Town’s assist charts so far this season – returns to the team in place of Rajiv van La Parra, who is among the substitutes this afternoon. One of Quaner’s four league assists this season came against Palace in the 3-0 opening day win at Selhurst Park.

The team is otherwise unchanged from last weekend’s match against Swansea City, which means that Tom Ince comes up against one of his former clubs; he played eight top-flight appearances for the Eagles back in 2014.

There are a further couple of changes among the substitutes, where Philip Billing returns in place of the injured Danny Williams and Elias Kachunga makes a welcome return from injury; he replaces Abdelhamid Sabiri.

It is Kachunga’s first appearance on a Town team-sheet since he injured his knee in the 4-1 win at Watford on 16 December 2017.

David Wagner is without the services of the injured Ryan Schofield, Terence Kongolo, Sean Scannell, Danny Williams and Michael Hefele.
