Interestingly, the Benin international’s Premier League goal against West Bromwich Albion was also named as the Goal of the Month by the Town supporters, in the competition sponsored by Maze8.
Blue and White Foundation member Mr Stephen Beardsell from Upper Cumberworth voted for Steve and was drawn to meet him before Town’s next Premier League home game against Swansea City to present him with his Champagne.
Steve will also receive a commemorative signed photo with the striker.
