Goalkeeper Jonas Lössl was firmly focused on the positives after Huddersfield Town’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Town’s ‘keeper reflected on the defeat but praised his side’s character and performance in the second half at Wembley Stadium.
Jonas revealed what David Wagner said to the players following the match and explained how a number of positives can be taken from the defeat.
The Danish international went on to praise the Huddersfield Town supporters for travelling to Wembley in the treacherous weather conditions and explained that his focus was now firmly on next weekend’s match against Swansea City.
On the defeat Jonas commented:
“We came out with a clear tactic in the second half and created what we were hoping for.
“We defended well during most of the game, I think, but if you give Spurs two metres they have so much quality which means you lose to teams like this.
“I think we all agreed that this defeat can’t affect us right now. We all now Tottenham is a fantastic team, they showed that today as well.
“So instead of focusing on what went wrong, we need to focus on what went right and bring that into next week.”
