Huddersfield Town midfielder Jonathan Hogg explained how confident the players are going into this weekend’s game because of the good performances they’ve put in over recent weeks.

The midfielder explained what he expects from Roy Hodgson’s side, whilst going into detail about their offensive options and how Town’s players need to be switched on.

The 29 year-old looked back on Town’s 3-0 win over the Eagles at Selhurst Park on the opening day of the season and compared that team to the one he faced in the Carabao Cup, when he made his first start of the season for the Club.

‘Hoggy’ went on to discuss how the Terriers need to be on the front foot and to continue playing with confidence and belief.

Jonathan continued to praise Town’s attacking prowess and explained the impact the supporters could have this weekend.

Ahead of this weekend’s match against Crystal Palace, the midfielder commented:

“Crystal Palace is a top team and going forward they’re brilliant; just as good as any other team in the league, with Zaha, Benteke, Townsend and Loftus-Cheek fit now.

“It’s going to be hard for us, we know that, but we need to be switched on for the full 90 minutes and make sure we are at it.

“If we aren’t then we won’t get anything in this league as teams have quality to hurt you and take three points off you.

“The last five or six performances have shown we are confident and that we’re playing with belief because we’ve got points on the board.

“We need to stick to what we’ve been doing, make sure we are at it, be on the front foot, press high and make sure everyone’s 100% and ready to go.”
