“I am now a real, real Terrier” admitted Florent Hadergjonaj after Huddersfield Town triggered a clause to complete the permanent transfer of the full-back from 2. Bundesliga side FC Ingolstadt 04.

The Swiss international explained how happy he is to sign for Huddersfield Town permanently, whilst also detailing what Head Coach David Wagner thought about his first seven months at the Club.

Flo went on to thank the fans for their kind words and support before detailing how he adapted to life in the Premier League.

The right-back also looked ahead to this weekend’s Premier League match against Swansea City at the John Smith’s Stadium, repeating the message that the focus is purely on this game.

Hadergjonaj continued to explain how the Town players are confident going into the game off the back of five positive performances.

On signing permanently for Huddersfield Town Flo Hadergjonaj commented:

“I am very delighted and proud. This is a big moment in my life and my career, I am looking forward to this moment; I am a real, real Terrier!

“I want to thank everyone who helped me to reach this step; my family, my teammates, the staff, the Head Coach and the fans.

“I received a lot of messages and it’s very, very nice to see how much love you get from the people.”
