Disappointment in Suffolk for the Young Terriers

- U18 game abandoned in Ipswich
- Snow puts paid to game after 17 minutes played
- Keep checking for details of rearrangment

The second coming of the ‘Beast from the East’ put paid to the Young Terriers’ U18 Professional Development League game down in Ipswich on Saturday morning.

The referee started the game at Ipswich Town’s training ground despite the snowy conditions, but the weather meant the game had to be abandoned after 17 minutes with the game goalless to protect the players.

It was a huge shame for Leigh Bromby’s young Under-17 side, which included four trialists in goalkeeper Giosue Bellagambi; defender Taylor Annakin and attackers Carlito Williams and Kit Elliott.

The game will now have to be rearranged and played at a later date; keep checking htafc.com and @htafcacademy for the latest info.

Town’s Line-Up (4-2-3-1):
Giosue Bellagambi; Ben Jackson (c), Tom Bamford, Dahomey Raymond, Taylor Annakin; Josh Austerfield, Saul Milovanovic; Carlito Williams, Ben Mills, Aaron Rowe; Kit Elliott

Unused Subs:
Seth Meeson, Remi Thompson, Darnell Mintus, Kian Harratt
