MONKEYFEST 2018 TO SUPPORT KEEP IT UP

Local beer fest to support ‘Keep it Up’ at this year’s event

- Monkeyfest supporting ‘Keep It Up’ in 2018
- Beer festival returns on 7 & 8 July
- Special beer brewed to recognise Town’s achievements

With ‘Monkeyfest’ already raising over £10,000 for Huddersfield Town’s ‘Keep It Up’ campaign, the festival will again be supporting the cause for what will be its 12th year in early July 2018.

Held in the local village of Armitage Bridge, ‘Monkeyfest’ has been a stalwart supporter of the campaign raising thousands of pounds already.

Themed ‘The Dirty Dozen’ for its 12th year, the festival will be held at the Armitage Bridge Club (Dean Brook Road, Armitage Bridge, HD4 7PB) over two days; noon until 10.30pm on Saturday 7 July 2017 and noon until 9pm on Sunday 8 July 2017.

In recognition of the achievements of the Club, local brewery Mallinsons will be a brewing a special one-off beer for the festival entitled ‘Ohh to Beer a Terrier’.

With over 60 different beers and ciders to choose from, admission to the festival will be £2 which includes a programme and a glass. There will also be seven bands performing live over the course of the weekend to enjoy.
