OPENING DAY
Huddersfield Town will host the side that Premier League safety was secured against last season, Chelsea, at the John Smith’s Stadium on the opening weekend of the campaign (Saturday 11 August 2018). David Wagner’s side won a superb point at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday 9 May 2018 to secure top-flight status, defending admirably after Laurent Depoitre put the Terriers ahead.
THE RUN-IN
After facing Watford at home on Saturday 20 April 2018, David Wagner’s side will face Liverpool (A) and Manchester United (H) before finishing the season at St. Mary’s against Southampton.
THE FIRST AWAY GAME
Town will face Premier League Champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on the weekend of Saturday 18 August 2018.
CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR
A home game against Southampton leads into the Christmas period, with games scheduled away at Manchester United on Boxing Day and Fulham on 29 December, before Burnley come to the John Smith’s Stadium on New Year’s Day.
EASTER
Town will face Watford at the John Smith’s Stadium on Easter Saturday (20 April 2018).
