Terriers scale the Arqiva Tower in Emley to reveal the alternative shirt

- Town reveals the alternative kit up the Arqiva Tower
- Media from across the nation gets a view they won't forget
- See behind-the-scenes on #HTTV

National, regional and local press joined Town to reach new heights on Wednesday afternoon as the Club unveiled it’s new 2018/19 Umbro alternative kit to the world!

The shirt, shorts and socks were exclusively revealed to the media ahead of the teatime launch – but in order to see it, they had to scale the famous Arqiva Tower in Emley!

The tallest freestanding structure in the UK, the Arqiva Tower stands at an impressive 330 metres; that’s even taller than the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Accompanied by Club Ambassador Andy Booth, the media travelled seven minutes in the lift to reach the viewing platform and were shown the new red and black striped kit that the Terriers will play in away from home in the coming Premier League campaign.

As ever, #HTTV was on-hand to go behind-the-scenes at the kit launch. Check out what happened below!

The red and black striped kit will be available to pre-order from noon on Monday 9 July 2018. Click HERE for more information!

Huddersfield Town’s Head of Marketing & Communications David Threlfall-Sykes commented:

“On behalf of everyone at Huddersfield Town, I would like to extend our thanks to Mark Steele and all the team at the Arqiva Tower for being so welcoming and accommodating in advance and on the day. Being able to bring the media up to the tower made for a very special day.

“As everyone knows, Huddersfield Town is very proud of being a Yorkshire Club and it was fitting that we could give everyone a superb view of the county alongside the reveal of the kit.”
