The first of Huddersfield Town’s two new Umbro alternative kits for the upcoming 2018/19 Premier League campaign has been revealed!
In line with Umbro’s contemporary designs, player-led performance insight, and compelling club stories, the alternative kit has brought back the Club’s classic red and black stripes for the second successive top-flight season.
To help the Club launch the new alternative kit, local artist Peter O’Toole – the man responsible for the ‘Wagner Revolution’ artwork from just over a year ago – has turned the town red and black in his signature style.

The shirt, which will be accompanied by black shorts and socks with red detailing, is modelled by Town stars Aaron Mooy, Alex Pritchard, Jonathan Hogg, Zanka and Elias Kachunga!
The alternative kit will be available to pre-order for supporters from noon on Monday 9 July 2018, with shirts available in store on Saturday 28 July 2018.
As per the 2018/19 home kit, the alternative shirt will also feature the distinct new logo of new shirt sponsor OPE SPORTS and new sleeve sponsor Leisu Sports.
Inkeeping with the 2018/19 Umbro home kit, the new version of the historic Terrier is also on the front of this season’s shirts in homage to the 1969/70 and 1970/71 shirts.
Although the new Terrier will appear on Town’s shirts this season, it has NOT replaced the current Huddersfield Town crest; that is still the official crest of Huddersfield Town and will continue to be used in all other areas.
The Club put on a special launch of the alternative kit at the top of the Arqiva Tower at Emley Moor, the tallest free-standing structure in the UK. Check out #HTTV on Thursday for a special insight into a great day!
