Huddersfield Town will host Champions League side Olympique Lyonnais in a pre-season friendly at the John Smith’s Stadium on Wednesday 25 July 2018.

The game will kick-off at 7.45pm, with admission priced at £15 for adults, £10 for seniors and £5 for Under-18s at the gate.

The Fantastic Media Stand will not be open for this fixture.

Lyon finished third in France’s Ligue 1 in the 2017/18 campaign, ensuring qualification for the Champions League in the upcoming season.

Managed by former player Bruno Génésio, OL boasts a young and exciting team that includes several names that have previously played in England including ex-Manchester United pair Memphis Depay and Rafael; former Chelsea attacker Bertrand Traoré and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, previously of Newcastle United.

The Club will also use the moments before the game to pay tribute to one of its greatest ever players, Ray Wilson, following his sad recent passing through a minute’s applause before the fixture.
