Abdelhamid Sabiri sat down with #HTTV to share his thoughts ahead of Huddersfield Town’s second season of Premier League football.

The midfielder – who was born just 10 minutes away from Town’s training base in Frankfurt – gave his thoughts on yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Dynamo Dresden where he played all of the second-half.

Having made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League during his first season at Town, Sabiri shared his reflections on his own performances from the last campaign.

The attacking midfielder - who will turn 22 in November – shared an insight into his aims and expectations heading into the new season, speaking of his determination to give his all and prove himself at the highest level.

Speaking to #HTTV, Sabiri commented:

“It [the game] was very warm and they had a good team. We did very well and created good chances – I had to score on the 90th minute – but that’s football, sometimes you score and sometimes you don’t, but I think it was a good game.

“It’s a little bit difficult, it’s not the same in the real season, everything’s difficult and you try a lot of things to prepare for the first match.

“It was a tough first season, I came to the team very late, it’s hard as it’s a new country and you have to get used to it. It was not easy, I didn’t play a lot, which also makes you feel a little down, but I knew it was going to be hard when I first signed.

“I’m going to give 110% to show what I can do and also show that I can play in the Premier League. I will give my best and try my best, then in the end we will see.”
