The game was held at Bradford PA’s Horsfall Stadium as Mark Hudson named a relatively young side for the trip to face the National North Side.

Tom Bell put the Young Terriers into the lead within the opening half-hour as the central midfielder collected the ball after a neat passage of play, darting through the centre before rifling a curling effort into the top corner.

Hudson’s side went into the break with the goal advantage before making their first changes on the hour mark as Dahomey Raymond, Harry Spratt & Kit Elliott replaced goal scorer Tom Bell, Mason O’Malley and Micah Obiero.

With the game edging closer to the finale, Town was awarded a penalty at the death as Harry Spratt cut in field and was fouled in the box. Captain Scott High stepped up a dispatched his kick into the top-right corner to secure the win for the Young Terriers.
