Town’s business partnership initiative boasts some exciting new names

- Introducing the #HuddersfieldHundred for 2018/19
- Local, national and international firms backing Town

Huddersfield Town is gearing up for an exciting second season in the Premier League in 2018/19 – both on and off the pitch.

It goes without saying that the support from the Club’s legions of fans is one of the most vital elements of Town’s success since Dean Hoyle took over as Chairman in 2009, but the support from the local and national business community also plays an increasingly important role.

Led by Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and Commercial Manager for Partnerships, John Williams, the ‘Huddersfield Hundred’ consists of 100 businesses who sign up to be an official partner of Huddersfield Town each season.

Town has long been known as a hub for business in the local area thanks to the success of this partnership scheme over the last decade, but the Club’s promotion to the Premier League – and the profile that brings the Club and town across the globe – has brought astounding new benefits to Town’s partner companies.

The Club’s commercial team works with each of the 100 businesses very closely to come up with a bespoke partnership that suits their individual circumstances, meaning that the #HuddersfieldHundred is made up by companies from a myriad of industries and ranging from multi-national firms to local Huddersfield businesses.

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis explained:

“The Club considers the start of July as a halcyon moment every year; the date at which the new season comes properly into focus. As such, I’m absolutely delighted to introduce the 2018/19 #HuddersfieldHundred to our supporters this week.

“Our fans will now be well familiar with the partnership scheme, which has become a part of the fabric of the Club since Dean Hoyle took over as Chairman in 2009. This year, I think the initiative will reach new heights for the businesses, the Club and its fans.

“It’s always exciting to be able to welcome some new names into the fold and we’re really looking forward to working with the likes of Lister Horsfall, SS Components, Cedar Court, Evolve and Hurricane Roofing this year and beyond.

“Just as importantly, however, we must recognise and thank our partners that have worked with the Club as part of the #HuddersfieldHundred for several years now. They are the reason that the initiative is so strong and have played a vital role in supporting your Club.

“The commercial team is so proud of the way that Town fans continue to support the businesses that support their team; that’s been a big success story for us. Town fans are tremendously loyal and that’s why the #HuddersfieldHundred has worked; businesses see their results take an upturn when they get involved with us. That’s the strength of Huddersfield Town as a brand.
