Tom Ince discussed pre-season, Bury and the desire in the dressing room

“There’s a burning desire to get going again” said Tom Ince prior to Town’s first pre-season friendly of the 2018/19 Premier League season.
When speaking to #HTTV, ‘Incy’ explained how the mood in the dressing room has changed from elation to excitement as the players prepare for their second Premier League season.
Ince went on to discuss how the players worked hard on their individual schedules to prepare for pre-season, whilst discussing what David Wagner’s pre-season training is like.
The winger continued to discuss how the new players have settled into the dressing room and why he decided to change his squad number to 11.
The 26-year-old also looked ahead to Town’s first pre-season friendly and explained why he believes it’s important to play matches early.
“It’s always important (to play games early), the weeks come by really quick and you have to have that game mentality and that competitiveness still.
“The fact the Head Coach encourages a lot of games in pre-season is fantastic, as much as you can train on the Training Ground and you can run or the rest of it, there’s nothing like match fitness or playing in games against opponents.
“There’s so many different aspects in friendlies that can help you, not only to test yourselves against opponents but also as teammates to gel together and see how each other play.
“The more games we’ve got this pre-season will help everyone for sure.”
