Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner told #HTTV that his side didn’t use its chances in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round draw with Birmingham City.

Town’s Head Coach admitted that a reply for his side wasn’t what he wanted but went on to say we was happy to still be competing in the Emirates FA Cup.

Wagner was delighted with the goal his side scored and praised the quality of both Florent Hadergjonaj and Steve Mounie who were involved in the opening strike.

However, Wagner acknowledged that two mistakes and missing two clear-cut chances was the downfall of his side against Birmingham City.

After the Club’s draw with the Blues, David Wagner commented:

“At least we are in the competition.

“We wanted to go through today but unfortunately we made too many mistakes in the offence, where we didn’t use our chances.

“We made a mistake before we conceded the first goal, which means re-match, something that we didn’t want to have but now we have it, we take it.

“There’s a lot of positives we can take out of this game and we have a big squad at the minute, a lot of healthy players which shows that our medical department is top class.

“This means that everybody has to work to be in the squad or in the starting XI and for this the extra game helps.

“So, I have no complaints about the re-match because we have so many healthy players, even if we wanted to go into the next round today.”
