Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner admitted to the media that this weekend’s Premier League match against West Ham is a big game for his side.
David Wagner went into detail about how his side’s motivation comes from the match at the London Stadium after Town lost 2-0 after a “disappointing performance”, whilst also explaining how much of an impact the fans could make at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Town’s Head Coach explained how this is a very important three points for his side before going on to discuss how West Ham United has changed under the management of David Moyes.
During his press conference David Wagner admitted that his side will try and show its real qualities this weekend against West Ham.
“To be totally honest the West Ham away game was one of the performances, with Swansea maybe, where I think we really underperformed.
“I was not happy with what we showed there, that’s something that we would all together like to correct because we are better than what we showed there.
“This is what we like to show on Saturday in front of our home crowd with this support that we need again to come to our best.
“This is exactly what we need to do, show a different, better face than the one we showed in the first game and this is what we have to do because we like to be successful in this game. Even if we know that West Ham is a very big name, with a great squad with very good individuals and a very good manager as well.
“They are in good form at the minute so there are a lot of reasons why we have to be better than what we were in the first game; this is our aim to be on our best.”
