Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner previewed the Club’s Emirates FA Cup Third Round match against Bolton Wanderers with the press.

David Wagner revealed to the media that Joel Coleman is the only name already confirmed on his team sheet before going into detail on how Robert Green has really pushed him on in training.

Town’s Head Coach explained why he wanted to bring Terence Kongolo to the Club, whilst also wishing Kasey Palmer all the best for the future after he was recalled by Chelsea.

Wagner admitted that the tradition and history of the Emirates FA Cup excites him and that his players go into the competition with the no limits mantra as well as discussing what he expects from Bolton Wanderers this weekend.

When discussing what kind of side will be selected against Bolton Wanderers David Wagner commented:

“It’s not about rest, it’s about rotation. We have rotated in the Premier League so why shouldn’t we in the Emirates FA Cup?

“I love this competition, I love the Emirates FA Cup because it is the oldest competition in the football world and we are involved against a great opponent – Bolton away.

“It’s a tough opponent and a very physical opponent so it’s not about rest players, it’s about rotate players.

“We have rotated players for at least eight weeks since we started to realise how busy it will be, and I think it worked out so far in terms of performance, results and injuries.

“I think we have our injury problems but not much more than other teams and with our small tight squad this is something that is very good for us.

“This means, yeah, there will be a different starting XI compared to the last one, but I am not sure how often we have played two times in a row with the same starting XI; this shouldn’t be a surprise.”
