Joe Lolley has today completed a permanent transfer to Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest, ending his time at Huddersfield Town.

The terms of Joe’s transfer will remain undisclosed.

Joe joined Huddersfield Town in January 2014 under Mark Robins, signing from then-Skrill Premier club Kidderminster Harriers for an undisclosed fee.

He went on to make 80 appearances for the Terriers across the Sky Bet Championship and the Premier League.

Joe made his top-flight debut as a substitute in the Club’s 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the John Smith’s Stadium on 9 December 2017.

So far this season the winger has made six league appearances – starting two – and scored his first Premier League goal earlier this month in the Club’s 4-1 defeat to West Ham United.

Lolley’s contract at Huddersfield Town was set to run until the summer of 2019.

Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner commented:

“We received an attractive offer for Joe; one that makes total sense financially for Huddersfield Town.

“Joe is also now at the point in his career where he wants to and needs to play regularly and that’s something we cannot offer him at this moment in time.

“We recalled Sean Scannell from his loan during this window and he will take Joe’s place in our First Team squad as another option for us out wide.

“Joe has worked hard in every single training session and is a fantastic character. Everyone here wishes him all the best for the future.”
