Christopher Schindler was disappointed after Huddersfield Town’s 3-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League.

The defender admitted that against Liverpool you have to stay in the game for as long as possible.

He went into detail about what it was like defending against the likes of Salah and Firmino, whilst also explaining what is different in his role when switching to a five at the back system.

‘Schindy’ went on to explain how important the first goal is in games against the top sides and praised the fans for their “unbelievable support” explaining that they could make the difference come the end of the season.

Following the defeat Christopher Schindler said:

“I think against a top six team, it’s important we keep a clean sheet for as long as possible and keep the game alive for as long as possible.

“The first goal was unlucky because of the deflection and the second one was straight before half-time which sort of killed the game; this was really frustrating actually.

“The fans were unbelievable today and this is what we need every game, what we’ve had every game and what we will need every game in the future.”
