Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner told #HTTV that his side deserved to lose to Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

Following the 2-0 Premier League defeat, Wagner described his frustrations with the result explaining that he felt his side was not strong enough technically to play the football they wanted to.

Wagner admitted that facing hard times in the Premier League shouldn’t be a surprise to his side, stating that it is up to him, his coaching staff and the players to turn it around.

Town’s Head Coach was quick to focus on the Club’s next match explaining that everyone needs to accept the result, recover and work hard together.

After the game David Wagner commented:

“I can say that the players gave me everything today, they fought and showed attitude and effort. We were not able to create opportunities to come into our game, they limited our football and were aggressive.

“They have shown that they are a top team in the Premier League, even if they’ve struggled so far. I can live with the effort and attitude even if the result hurts, it’s something we should accept and go forward.

“We worked against them, this is what we’ve done wthout creating opportunities in our offensive. We tried to limit them, in the first half it worked but in the second half they had more clear-cut chances. In the end, it was a deserved defeat and we must accept it.
