Huddersfield Town midfielder Aaron Mooy says his side must perform to the best of their abilities if they wish to collect any points from Saturday’s encounter against Stoke City.

Speaking to #HTTV ahead of the trip to the Bet365 Stadium, the Australian international spoke about how his side must react from last weekend’s defeat to West Ham.

The midfielder also spoke about tomorrow’s opponents Stoke, touching upon some of the quality they possess and the impact the appointment of a new Manager has on a team.

Aaron also spoke about the upcoming World Cup where the Soceroos have been drawn in a group along with Denmark and could face fellow Town players Mathias Zanka and Jonas Lössl.

When speaking to #HTTV Aaron Mooy commented:

“I always prefer to get to the next game. This season is a bit different, we have longer weeks and we can go through more video sessions and look at what went wrong.

“We always knew we wasn’t going to win every game. We have to bounce back as we’ve done previously this season and hopefully we can do that this weekend.

“Whenever a new manager comes in everyone wants to impress. I’m sure it’s going to be a tough match and we’ll have to be at our highest level if we want to take points.

“Every team has different qualities, Stoke definitely have some good players and we’ll have to keep our eye on them.”
