Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner says that his side wants to progress to the Fifth Round of the Emirates FA Cup in tomorrow’s replay against Birmingham City.

The Head Coach was speaking to the press on Monday afternoon ahead of his side’s trip to the Midlands for the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round replay on Tuesday evening.

David Wagner revealed that he would be without Danny Williams, Christopher Schindler and Laurent Depoitre for the trip to St Andrew’s, with the latter two picking up knocks in Saturday’s game against Man Utd.

When asked about potential squad rotation for the Cup competition, the Head Coach explained that he will select a strong side that is able to be successful and progress to the next round.

David Wagner also spoke of his ambition to progress to the next round of the FA Cup with a mouth-watering Fifth Round tie at home against Manchester United awaiting the winner.

Speaking at the Press Conference, David Wagner said:

“The good message is that nothing is really serious, but too serious that Lolo [Laurent Depoitre] and Schindler are unavailable for tomorrow. I think they could be ready on Saturday at the Bournemouth game. Danny Williams is still out, and I hope he’s back in training after the Birmingham game and he can have some training sessions before the Bournemouth game; everyone else looks fine for the game tomorrow.

“Every win helps in every competition, to get a positive mood to have a more positive atmosphere even if we try to keep it as positive as we can to try in this situation where we have conceded a lot of defeats in a row, wins always helps.

“Every win can help, as I said; to give you a better feeling, better mood and a better atmosphere, even if you have to make sure you’re totally focused on your day-to-day work. Make sure you make everything right and prepare yourself and your group for everything in front of you.”
