David Wagner issues rallying call ahead of important Premier League period

Head Coach David Wagner insisted to the press that this is the time for everyone at Huddersfield Town to fight together.
The Terriers’ Head Coach spoke to the media ahead of the Club’s match against AFC Bournemouth and explained that it’s important that at this stage of the season that everyone stays together and fights as Town looks to climb out of the relegation zone.
Wagner revealed what he said to his players after the defeat at Old Trafford, told the press what the atmosphere was like in the dressing room and admitted how the result against Birmingham City has brought the winning feeling back to his side.
David Wagner gave the latest injury news on Tommy Smith, Christopher Schindler and Laurent Depoitre, whilst explaining what his side can expect from AFC Bournemouth.
He praised the Cherries for their recent run of form and explained that Town has to be on its best to get anything out of the game at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Head Coach David Wagner commented:
“Now the crucial time starts for us; we are totally aware that this is a massive game for us.
“Now it’s not only to believe that you have the chance to stay up, now it starts the time where we all together have to fight to stay up.
“This does not only mean the squad, the dressing room, everyone here at PPG Canalside and the Stadium supporters, it means the whole town now has to stand up and fight for Premier League survival.
“In the next 13 games in the Premier League we, all together, have to stay together, stick together and really fight.
“Not only believe, we believe, everybody supports us, this is no doubt. Now we have to come into the next gear, not only our supporters, we have to fight for Premier League survival and this is what we will do.
“Now is the time that counts and now we know what is exactly in front of us.”
