Terence Kongolo explained to #HTTV that Huddersfield Town battled for everything in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The 23 year-old defender admitted that the players gave their all against the Red Devils and that two lapses of concentration cost the Terriers.

Terence went on to discuss how he has settled in at Huddersfield Town and the differences for him between playing at both centre-back and left-back.

Kongolo praised the supporters to backing Town throughout the match, whilst also explaining how the positive team spirit in the group will help over the next few games.

Speaking after the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United, Terence commented:

“I think we fought as a team and gave everything, I think today we just saw that Manchester United was a little bit better than us.

“I’m very proud because we defended good, we didn’t have a lot of chances but I’m proud that we fought until the last minute.

“If you play against the big teams, you have to be focused for the whole game. If you’re not focused then they will score, for the next time we have to be focused for 95 minutes.”
