Huddersfield Town’s Under-23s squad will host Burnley on Monday 5 January 2018 in a 1pm Professional Development League kick-off at PPG Canalside.

Mark Hudson’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways following a narrow 2-1 defeat away at league leaders Bolton Wanderers in the youngsters’ previous fixture.

The Terriers played out a 3-3 draw in their last meeting with Michael Duff’s Burnley side when they met back in November. An own goal, Isaac Marriott strike and goal from Joe Lolley earned the Young Terriers a point.

This will be Town’s 14th game of the season against an opponent from the northern division. During the season, Town – members of the 11-team northern PDL division – play the other northern teams twice and the 10 southern teams once.

Hudson’s side currently sits 9th in the Professional Development League table, five points ahead of bottom side Burnley.

The match is being played on the front pitch at PPG Canalside, and tickets are available for £1, which includes a team sheet.
