Huddersfield Town fans can watch the Club’s Under-23s side in action at PPG Canalside on Monday afternoon, with Birmingham City the visitor.

The game will be held on Monday 26 February 2018 with a 1pm kick-off at PPG Canalside (509 Leeds Road, Huddersfield, HD2 1YJ). Admission to the game is £1, for which you will receive a team-sheet.

The Young Terriers, led by U23 Coach Mark Hudson, return to action after rain put pay to their most recent fixture. The young side was meant to travel to face Nottingham Forest last Monday (19 February), but the pitch was waterlogged so they did not travel.

This would have been a third match in a week for the Under-23s, having beaten Sheffield Wednesday 3-2 at home and Barnsley 3-1 away on the 12th and 16th February respectively. You can watch highlights of these (below) and all other Under-23s matches on #HTTV.

Birmingham City beat Crewe Alexandra Under-23s 2-0 last Monday evening, seeing the Club sat in sixth position in the table going into this fixture.

The Blues are level on 27 points with Town, both also having scored 34 goals, the Terriers conceding six more, being the only league difference so far this campaign.

Richard Beale’s side beat Town’s Under-23s earlier this season in the Midlands 2-1, despite Danny Kane opening the scoring.

If you’re planning to watch the game, why not come to PPG Canalside prior to the match and enjoy a spot of lunch in advance?

The kitchen is open between noon and 2pm on week days and serves freshly cooked meals created with local produce.

If you cannot make the game, you’ll be able to follow live score updates on Town’s official Academy Twitter account, @htafcacademy.
