“We’ve now got to show we are Terriers and that we’ve got a fighting spirit” said Philip Billing when discussing Huddersfield Town’s match against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
After making his first Premier League start against Liverpool since August 2017, Phil spoke to #HTTV about returning from injury and developing a stronger mentality to return to fitness even stronger.
He went on to discuss how minutes in the Emirates FA Cup helped prepare him efficiently for the match against Liverpool and explained how the Manchester United game will be as equally touch.
Phil went on to explain what he expects from the Red Devils, how Mourinho’s side will be more determined to beat Town and he can sense excitement in the dressing room ahead of the game.
Billing explained how close-knit the group is at the moment:
“It’s frustrating at the minute but that’s football, it’s now that tests you as a team, you know, what kind of team you are.
“Now we’ve got to show that we’re the Terrier and we’ve got the fighting spirit; that’s what we will try and do and hopefully pick up some positive results over the next few weeks.
“It can easily turn around in football, one good results can turn into a few and then you’re on a positive run; that’s what we hope to do.”
