Joe Royle is this week’s guest on Boothy’s Beer and Banter as he takes to the stage around 9.45am to share stories from his career.

The Merseyside-born former player and manager made 232 appearances for Everton having also spent time at Manchester City, Bristol City and Norwich City and went on to receive six England caps as a player. Royle has managed five teams throughout his career; most notably at Oldham Athletic with time also spent at Everton, Manchester City and Ipswich Town.

Joe Royle was also in the hot-seat as The Toffees secured the FA Cup in 1995 where a single goal from Paul Rideout was enough to clinch the title over Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United.
