“We need to have no regrets” admitted Huddersfield Town midfielder Jonathan Hogg when speaking to #HTTV ahead of the Club’s Premier League match against West Brom.
Town’s Vice-Captain was quick to praise the last three performances put in by the Terriers, explaining that the win over AFC Bournemouth was one of the “performances of the season.”
‘Hoggy’ went on to preview the match against West Brom, admitting that the pressure is all on Alan Pardew’s side this weekend. The midfielder also urged the Town players to give 110% and to get in the faces of the Baggies.
The 29 year-old recalled Town’s 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion earlier this season, praising the defensive resilience shown after going a goal down. However, he went to admit that the Terriers can’t learnt too much from the game because of the change in Manager at the Hawthorns.
Jonathan also went into detail about the Club’s style of play, an inspiring chat that squad had with Chairman Dean Hoyle and how he can see belief in the players’ faces around the Club’s PPG Canalside Training Ground.
When speaking ahead of the West Brom game, Jonathan Hogg commented:
“We need to go there, be on the front foot, be positive and get in their faces.
“We can’t take the foot off the gas, we need to keep going at 110%; there’s not many games left so we need to have no regrets.
“We know what they are all about; they’re physical and direct. They’ll put in a lot of long balls, which we need to deal with.
“We need to make sure we stand up, can be counted for and stay strong.
“We know need to win our one-on-one battles as well on Saturday to come away with the result that we want.”
