Huddersfield Town Head Coach David Wagner says that his side must be believers and not dreamers when they step out onto the field in Saturday afternoon’s Premier League clash against Manchester United.

Town’s Head Coach was speaking at the Pre-Match Press Conference held at PPG Canalside on Friday afternoon.

David explained that whilst the odds are stacked against his side for the trip to Old Trafford, his team must fight for every yard and be believers and not dreamers.

Town’s Head Coach also discussed expectations stating that they must always focus on their own day-to-day work and not on situations out of their control.

During the Press Conference, David Wagner commented:

“I think it’s more important that they have believe, rather than that they dream. We don’t have to speak about who is the favourite tomorrow. At the end we must be, and we will be, and we are so excited about this event we have tomorrow.

“Like always, we go into this match fighting for every yard, try out best and see what we can get out of this game, even if we know who is the favourite. This doesn’t change that we try everything to steal something from this game and this is our aim.

“Nobody expects anything from us, so we can take this game with total freedom. This makes the behaviour of the players a little more positive, but it usually will be in these moments we have now. In the end, it’s a usual working routine because the most important thing is being totally focused on yourself and your work.

“Be focused on your daily work, make sure everything you can influence as good as you can and prepare yourself for every challenge. Don’t overthink and don’t get driven away in a positive or negative way, be focused, calm and make your day by day work. This is the most important thing you have to do in situations that we have, or we had."
